About Tim

Tim Winebrenner has been a choir director for 20 years, most of which has been on the junior high level. He is currently the assistant choir director at Klein High School.  He was formerly teaching at Schindewolf Intermediate in Klein ISD since it opened in 2002 and taught there for 17 years. Prior to his position as head director at Schindewolf, he worked as the assistant choir director at Strack Intermediate for three years with Donna White. 

 

Tim currently has over forty songs in publication through BriLee, Carl Fischer, and RBC Music.  Mr. Winebrenner was commissioned to write "Charlie Is My Darlin'" for the Krimmel Intermediate Varsity Treble Choir for their performance at the 2013 Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio. Tim recently conducted the 23rd annual Klein ISD Men’s Choir Concert in November where two of his compositions were performed.

 

Tim has held positions as TMEA Region IX JH co-coordinator and served on the UIL Sight Reading Committee from 2007-2010.  He has a BA in Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin and Masters Degree in Music Education with emphasis in choral conducting from the University of Houston. 

 

He is a member of Texas Choral Directors Association (TCDA), Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), and Texas Music Adjudicators Association (TMAA).

 

Tim and his wife, Sarah, live in Tomball, TX with their three children; Saul, Ella, and Isaac.
