What does reproducible mean?
When purchasing a reproducible book you are also receiving the rights to make as many copies as necessary for your campus for many years
Why is the price so much for one book?
Because you are purchasing an unlimited number of books for your program. Simply make copies.
Is it cost effective?
If a book is lost, damaged, ripped, or you get a new student, etc…it is as simple as sending it to the school workroom to make another copy.
This is an extremely cost effective way for you to spend your money.
I still don't see how this is going to save my school or choir program money.
Let's go through some scenarios:
Choir Director A:
You have 50 girls in your choir and you need to purchase sight reading material for them
You order a set of sight reading books from a publisher. You will need 50 books and each book costs $10
You have just spent $500 on a set of sight reading material for your program. (The majority of your yearly budget is gone.)
Yes, they are great resources that will be used and yes, they will last a few years
Choir Director B:
You also have 50 girls in your choir and you need to purchase sight reading material for them
You purchase An Introduction to Soprano-Alto Sight Singing for $60 from timwmusic.com
You have just spent $60 on a set of sight reading material for your program, leaving you with plenty of money to spend on other materials and music
Yes, they are a great resource that will be used and yes, after they wear out you can just make more copies.
Choir Director A spent $500 while Choir Director B spent only $60
